Responsible Play
Although entering online Competitions and/or Prize Draws is not considered gambling, Jammy.co.uk wants to ensure that anybody entering our competitions is doing so in a responsible manner.
You should only spend what you can afford, our website is supposed to be a fun way to win luxury prizes for a fraction of their cost. You should think carefully before entering any competition and only enter competitions that that you have a genuine desire to win the prize, not just enter every competition you see. Again, you should ensure that the ticket price is affordable for you before entering a competition.
If the fun stops, STOP PLAYING!
Jammy.co.uk has put in place a number of measures to ensure that our site is used responsibly:
- We limit the maximum entries per person, per competition to ensure responsible play. The entry limit for each competition is confirmed within each competition listing.
- If you ever feel that you are spending too much on competitions entries, you can opt for a ‘Time Out’ of either 1 day, 1 week or 1 month. Simply email us and we will place a ‘Time Out’ on your account for the desired period.
- If you ever feel that you are spending too much on competitions entries, you can opt for a ‘Self Exclusion’ period of either 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. Simply email us we will place a ‘Self Exclusion’ on your account for the desired period.
- Even though online competition entry isn’t classed as gambling, it could still be part of a wider problem or you may feel that it’s becoming an issue for you on its own. If this is the case, we would recommend getting some free, independent and non-judgemental advice from BeGambleAware.org or GamCare.org.uk
