Responsible Participation
We want every customer to enjoy taking part in our prize draws as a form of entertainment. Winning prizes should be exciting, and entering should always remain affordable and enjoyable.
We encourage all customers to participate responsibly and to make informed decisions about the amount of time and money they spend on our competitions. Every competition includes a free postal entry route, ensuring there is always a way to participate without making a purchase. Although prize draws are legally distinct from gambling, we recognise the importance of providing practical tools that help customers manage their participation effectively.
You may set a maximum amount that can be spent over a selected period. Limits apply only to purchases and top-ups made using your own funds — winnings and promotional rewards are excluded. Limits can be set to any amount, including zero, and any change is subject to a cooling-off period before it becomes active.
If you would like a short break, you can activate a temporary time-out. While active, competition entry is unavailable and the time-out cannot be cancelled before it expires. Normal access resumes automatically once the period ends.
Customers seeking a longer break may lock their account for an extended period of 6 months. During the lock, access to competitions is suspended and login access may be restricted. The lock cannot be removed before the chosen period ends, and access is restored automatically once the duration expires.
You may permanently close your account at any time. Once closed, competition entries cannot be made, access to benefits and promotional features ends, and marketing communications stop. If you later decide to return, you may request reactivation by contacting customer services.
At times we may check up on your playing habits to ensure that you are not playing irresponsibly or experiencing financial trouble. This may take the form of an email to your registered account email, a prompt while you are on the website, and/or a phone call to your registered phone number.
If you are experiencing financial difficulties, emotional distress or concerns relating to your spending habits, the following organisations may be able to help. Further information and contact details can be found on each organisation’s website.
